Salary: $55, 912 plus benefits

The North of Superior Healthcare Group has an immediate opening for a Permanent Full-Time Security Guard.

Under the general supervision of the Infrastructure and Capital Planning Manager, provides services which support the safety and security of North of Superior Health Group's staff, physicians, volunteers, patients, visitors and infrastructure.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Security guard experience in a healthcare or equivalent environment, is preferred.

• Bilingualism in English/French, is preferred.

• Knowledge and experience with Indigenous Culture, is preferred.

• Licensed Ontario Security Guard required;

• Valid Ontario Class G Driver's License required;

• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification required;

• Use of Force Training, Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training, Hospital Emergency Code(s) Training, Pinel Restraint Training, Patient Lift Training, Mental Health First Aid Certification, Non-violent crisis intervention and conflict resolution training, preferred

EXPERIENCE:

• Security guard experience in a healthcare or equivalent environment, is preferred.

• Bilingualism in English/French, is preferred.

• Knowledge and experience with Indigenous Culture, is preferred.
