Security Guard

Thursday- Saturday Midnight to 8am $16.00 Hour

We are seeking a reliable, alert Unarmed Security Guard for a Rover position. This role involves patrolling multiple assigned sites or areas by vehicle, ensuring the safety and security of property, personnel, and assets across all locations rather than being stationed at a single fixed post. During your shift you will do a lot of walking as well patroling on foot and locking and unlocking doors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive between multiple client sites or property locations on a set patrol schedule
• Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and grounds
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security breaches
• Check and secure doors, gates, windows, and other access points
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or requests for assistance at any assigned site
• Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs
• Communicate regularly with dispatch/control center and site supervisors
• Provide customer service and assistance to employees, visitors, or the public as needed
• Enforce site-specific policies and procedures
• Maintain company vehicle clean, safe operating condition and report maintenance issues

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• State security guard license/certification (as required by jurisdiction)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to remain alert during long shifts, including nights/weekends as needed
• Physical ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods
• Pass background check and drug screening

Preferred:

• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience
• Familiarity with the local patrol area
