Job Overview

BROTHERHOOD SECURITY SERVICES, LLC is seeking vigilant, dependable, and professional Bilingual Security Officers fluent in English and Spanish to help maintain safety and security at our assigned properties.

We are currently accepting applications for the following positions:

• Full-Time Security Officer
• Part-Time Security Officer
• Floater Security Officer — Must be available for on-call assignments, including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency coverage. 24/7 availability is required for the Floater position.

Our Security Officers play an essential role in protecting residents, employees, visitors, and property. The ideal candidates will be alert, professional, dependable, and capable of handling security situations with sound judgment and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, exits, parking areas, and other designated locations.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems to identify suspicious activity or security concerns.
• Verify the identities of residents, visitors, contractors, and employees according to established access-control procedures.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
• Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, coworkers, and management in both English and Spanish.
• Help de-escalate conflicts and enforce security procedures professionally.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and security records.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Follow company policies, post orders, and supervisory directives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Fluent in English and Spanish — required.
• Valid Florida security license as required for the position.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong observation, problem-solving, and conflict-management skills.
• Ability to remain calm, alert, and professional in stressful situations.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Familiarity with CCTV and access-control systems is a plus.

Floater Availability: Applicants must be available to cover different shifts and locations as needed, including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency assignments, with 24/7 on-call availability.
