Security Guard – Warrior Logistics

Job Overview

Warrior Logistics is seeking dependable, alert, and responsible Security Guards to monitor facility entrances and exits and maintain a safe, secure, and organized environment. Security Guards will be stationed at designated guard gates and will be responsible for monitoring all incoming and outgoing vehicles, personnel, visitors, deliveries, and materials.

The ideal candidate will ensure that everyone and everything entering or leaving the facility follows established security procedures. This position requires strong attention to detail, accurate recordkeeping, professional communication, and the ability to identify and report suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or irregularities.

Language Requirement: Applicants must speak English or be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor all incoming and outgoing vehicles, including company vehicles, employee vehicles, delivery trucks, and contractor vehicles.
• Verify driver identification, visitor credentials, and authorization before allowing access to the property.
• Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments, deliveries, equipment, and materials according to site procedures.
• Record vehicle information, driver names, arrival and departure times, and other required details in the appropriate logs or systems.
• Ensure that vehicles, personnel, and materials entering or leaving the facility follow established security protocols.
• Monitor the guard station and access points to ensure everything operates properly and remains secure.
• Maintain accurate records of all entry and exit activity and report missing information, discrepancies, or suspicious circumstances.
• Prevent unauthorized individuals or vehicles from entering restricted areas.
• Communicate with supervisors and facility personnel regarding deliveries, visitors, security concerns, and unusual activity.
• Remain alert for safety hazards, suspicious behavior, and potential security breaches.
• Report incidents, damaged equipment, irregularities, and violations of site procedures promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional guard station.
• Follow all site-specific policies, emergency procedures, and instructions from supervisors.
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and attentiveness throughout the assigned shift.

Qualifications and Skills

• Dependable, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual English/Spanish applicants are welcome.
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate written or electronic records.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow security procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during the entire shift.
• Previous security, gate monitoring, warehouse, logistics, or access-control experience is preferred.
• Ability to stand or walk as required by the assigned post.
• Must meet applicable licensing and site requirements.

Available Shifts

Gate 1 – Monday through Friday

• 6:00 AM–2:00 PM — $18.00/hour
• 8:00 AM–4:00 PM — $18.00/hour
• 2:00 PM–10:00 PM — $18.50/hour
• 10:00 PM–6:00 AM — $20.00/hour

Gate 1 – Saturday and Sunday

• 6:00 PM–6:00 AM — $20.50/hour

Gate 2 – Monday through Friday

• 5:00 AM–1:00 PM — $18.00/hour
• 9:00 AM–5:00 PM — $18.00/hour
