Duties

• Monitor premises continuously using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity or security breaches
• Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to ensure authorized entry
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to observe security conditions and prevent theft or vandalism
• Respond swiftly to alarms or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed
• Perform detailed inspections of individuals and packages to prevent loss prevention issues
• Maintain accurate logs of security activities, incidents, and visitor records for accountability and reporting purposes
• Utilize surveillance technology effectively to support loss prevention initiatives and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Experience

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is highly desirable
• Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras and monitoring software
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques to minimize theft and vandalism
• Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential risks quickly and accurately
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective coordination with emergency responders
• Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining professionalism under pressure

Pay: $17.95 per hour
