Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive individual with strong observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in protecting property and preventing loss through surveillance and conflict management.

Duties

• Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV, to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility.
• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities.
• Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
• Maintain detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for future reference.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or suspicious behavior.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment and techniques is highly desirable.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
