Security Guard

Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment across our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing unauthorized access, and ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and assets. This role requires a D license, reflecting the need for qualified security personnel capable of operating within legal and safety standards. The Security Guard will play a crucial part in safeguarding our organization’s operations and maintaining peace of mind for all stakeholders.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to ensure ongoing surveillance coverage.
• Check identification and credentials of visitors and staff entering the premises.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including medical situations or disturbances.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures consistently and professionally.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, including possessing a valid D license required for this role.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to appropriate personnel.

Experience

• Prior experience in security or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
• Valid D license is required, demonstrating compliance with licensing regulations for security personnel.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
