Duties

• Monitor and control access points using advanced access control systems to authorize entry for authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fences, to identify potential security risks or breaches
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities for future reference and compliance purposes
• Respond promptly to emergencies by following established emergency response procedures, including fire alarms, medical incidents, or security threats
• Utilize conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management skills to handle disputes professionally and peacefully while maintaining safety standards

Skills

• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for patrols or equipment management
• Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail and clarity for legal or investigative purposes
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people
• Strong conflict de-escalation skills combined with conflict management techniques to maintain a calm environment during tense situations
• Understanding of legal compliance related to security operations and privacy regulations
