Duties

• Monitor premises using CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security breaches or hazards and respond swiftly to any incidents.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting concerns immediately.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents, providing detailed reports and support as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs of security activities, incident reports, and shift documentation to ensure thorough record-keeping.
• Perform routine inspections of security equipment such as CCTV systems, alarms, and fences to ensure optimal operation.

Experience

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance technology, including CCTV systems and alarm monitoring.
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques to deter theft and vandalism.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively during emergencies or security breaches.
• Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and surveillance activities.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and collaborating with team members or authorities.
• Valid certifications in security operations or relevant training preferred; willingness to obtain necessary licenses where applicable.

Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour
