Job Overview

• Job Title: Security Guard / Security Officer
• Department: Safety & Security
• Reports To: Security Supervisor / Operations Manager
• Position Type: Full-time / Part-time / Shift Work (including nights, weekends, and holidays)

Key Responsibilities1. Patrol & Surveillance

• Conduct regular patrols: Walk or drive around the perimeter, interior, and exterior of the assigned property to detect signs of intrusion or disruption.
• Monitor surveillance systems: Operate and closely watch closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, alarm panels, and other security systems.
• Inspect access points: Ensure all windows, doors, and gates are securely locked and functional.

2. Access Control & Gatekeeping

• Authorize entrance: Verify identification, badges, or visitor logs for employees, guests, and vendors before allowing entry.
• Direct traffic: Guide visitors to parking areas or appropriate check-in desks.
• Prevent unauthorized entry: Securely handle trespassers or uninvited individuals according to company policy and legal guidelines.

3. Incident Response & Reporting

• Respond to emergencies: Act quickly during fire alarms, medical emergencies, natural disasters, or physical altercations.
• Contact authorities: Call police, fire departments, or emergency medical services when necessary.
• Document events: Write detailed, accurate incident reports regarding daily activities, property damage, or suspicious occurrences.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Security Guard License/Registration as required by local or state regulations.
• First Aid / CPR / AED Certification (strongly preferred or required upon hire).
• Strong Observation Skills: High attention to detail to notice anomalies, hazards, or suspicious behavior.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written skills for reporting incidents and interacting with the public.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand or walk for long periods, climb stairs, and occasionally lift heavy objects or intervene in physical situations.
• Clean Criminal Background Check and passing a drug screening.

Pay: From Php695.00 per day
