Security Guard

About the Role:

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and facility. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring safety protocols are followed and incidents are managed effectively.

We are hiring for 3 shifts in this role:

1. 7:00am-3:00pm

2. 3:00pm-11:00pm

3. 11:00pm-7:00am

What You'll Be Doing:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized activity
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the premises
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility
• Document incidents, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with law enforcement when required
• Manage conflicts in a calm and professional manner, de-escalating situations as needed
• Collaborate with team members to enhance overall security measures and improve response strategies

Minimum Required Qualifications:

The minimum required qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Proficiency in surveillance techniques and equipment, including CCTV systems
• Strong background in law enforcement or military experience preferred
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification highly desirable
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain composed under pressure
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security risks
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse groups of people

Job Type: Full-time
