Our ABC Student Transportation is looking for a Security Guard:

SECURITY

Security personnel job description duties and specifically define what is expected:

• Patrol premises to prevent and detect sign of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows and
  gates. Document times of security checks on log (day shift checks will be required upon last bus in
  terminal every two (2) hours until departure of p.m. buses). Weekend checks will be required to
  check premises every two (2) hours along with documentation on log and will be verified with
  surveillance cameras by management.

• Weekend security will receive documentation from management for authorized persons and employees
  allowed on premises. Questions or concerns regarding authorization security are required to contact
  management.

• Maintain an accurate daily log of all activities.

• Note bus numbers that are in violation of speed limit (five mph) in terminal to management.

• Visitors are required to be escorted by security to office.

• Report of any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of
  unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

• Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire, presence of unauthorized
  persons, breech of building security or damage to property. Security is required to notify
  management.

• Report any and all potentially hazardous conditions.

• Keep all matters that become knowledge in your official capacity confidential, unless
  revelations are necessary in the performance of duty.

• Perform any and all other duties as assigned.

• All buses that enter and depart terminal require driver to display "Empty Sign" to security and
  proceed to walk to the rear of the bus and check to ensure there are no students left on the bus.
  Upon completion the driver is required to place "red empty sign" in the rear of the bus. Report to
  management any driver (bus number) that does not display a "red empty sign". Security is to walk
  each bus upon completion of the driver to ensure no students are left on the bus. In the event a
  student is left on the bus management must be notified immediately!

• Buses departing & returning from an assignment, security personnel must log departure and return
  times.

• No employees should be permitted to drive their personal vehicles into the areas where buses or
  equipment is located on the premises.

• Mechanics are required to sign out in the office prior to departing terminal for a test drive
  (during office hours). A mechanics log is required for bus testing, security personnel are required
  to stop and walk the bus prior to departure purpose of tools or property from the premises. All
  above guidelines pertaining to log is to be adhered to.

• Smoking is not prohibited inside the security station. It is the responsibility of all security
  to maintain a clean work environment. Security personnel that smoke on the outside are responsible
  for maintaining surrounding. Alertness is required at all times and observing surrounding areas.

• Reminder all security personnel must be in clean uniform daily, and are required to present
  themselves in a professional manner at all times. There are no television or computers, etc.,
  allowed during working hours. Limit all personal conversations with employees.

• Security is to be assertive and speak authoritatively and clearly.

• Security personnel are not allowed to work on vehicles on ABC property.

• There are no visitors allowed during working hours.
