Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises using CCTV systems and physical inspections to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Control access points utilizing access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies by following established procedures for fire safety, medical incidents, or security threats; operate AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) and Taser devices as trained.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities to ensure accurate record-keeping and follow-up actions.
• Perform background checks on new employees or visitors when required to uphold compliance with security regulations.
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques effectively to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety for all parties involved.
• Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents by providing relevant information and support as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and physical security duties safely.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation, and fire safety are preferred; ongoing training will be provided if necessary.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures and incident report writing is essential for effective performance.
• Skilled in conflict management and conflict de-escalation strategies to handle challenging situations professionally.
• Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV technology, Taser use, firearm handling (where permitted), and compliance with security regulations is advantageous.
