About the Job

G Force Security is seeking professional, reliable, and vigilant Campus Security Guards to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. As a Campus Security Guard, you will play a vital role in protecting campus property, monitoring premises, conducting routine patrols, controlling access, and responding promptly to security incidents. About the Role

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence across campus entrance.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to identify suspicious activity, safety hazards, unauthorized access, and potential security risks.
• Welcome and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors with courtesy, respect, and professionalism.
• Monitor campus entrances and exits, verify access where required, and help prevent unauthorized entry.
• Uphold campus security procedures, institutional policies, and safety regulations in a fair and respectful manner.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, alarms, and reports of suspicious activity.
• Support emergency procedures, including evacuations, lockdowns, and other safety measures, as directed.
• Communicate and coordinate with campus administration, fellow security personnel, and emergency services when necessary.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, document security concerns, and maintain daily activity and shift logs.
• Assist with campus safety inspections, emergency drills, and security awareness initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid Ontario security guard license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally faculty, staff, and visitors.
• Previous security or customer service experience; experience in a campus, educational, or public service environment is an asset.
• Excellent observation skills, sound judgment, and the ability to identify and respond to potential security concerns.
• Professional appearance, proper uniform standards, and a respectful, approachable attitude.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, and conducting patrols for extended periods, including using stairs.
• Ability to remain calm, exercise discretion, and handle challenging situations professionally.
• Willingness to participate in security briefings, training sessions, emergency drills, and ongoing professional development.
• First Aid and CPR certification, or emergency response training is considered an asset.
