Job Description

Job Title: Security Guard - High Rise (Overnight)

Job Location: Vancouver, BC

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule: Saturday - Sunday

Shifts: 2300-0700

Pay Rate: $20.29 per hour

**Overview:**We are looking for diligent and reliable security guards to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring a safe environment.

Requirement:

• Valid BC security guard license.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• First Aid and CPR
• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct foot patrols of buildings and surrounding areas.
• Monitor and report suspicious activities and persons.
• Prevent and detect thefts or vandalism.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily logs.
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Resolve conflicts calmly and effectively.
• Use radios and cell phones to communicate with team members.
• Follow emergency procedures and respond to alarms.
• Ensure safety and security protocols are upheld.
