We are seeking reliable, highly disciplined Security Officers with valid PSIRA registration spanning Grades A through D to join our operational team.

​Position Overview

​The Security Officer is responsible for physical guarding, access control, vessel or facility access surveillance, patrolling, and risk mitigation. Depending on operational deployment and your specific PSIRA grade level, responsibilities will range from access logging and site patrols (Grades C & D) to supervisory oversight, emergency command, and access control management (Grades A & B).

​Key Responsibilities

​Access Control & Log Monitoring: Manage access points, verify credentials, record visitor/contractor entries, and inspect vehicles, equipment, or cargo in line with standard operating procedures.

​Patrols & Perimeter Security: Conduct systematic foot and vehicle patrols across premises, securing access points, detecting security risks, and identifying safety hazards.

​Incident Management & Response: Respond immediately to alarms, emergencies, unauthorized entries, or incidents; follow escalation protocols and notify supervisory staff/emergency services.

​Record Keeping & Incident Logging: Maintain precise occurrences books (OBs), visitor registers, and incident logs with accurate details.

​Supervisory & Command Duties (Grades A & B): Provide shift leadership, conduct site postings, inspect team members on duty, and ensure strict adherence to site instructions and client compliance frameworks.

​Regulatory Compliance: Maintain full personal adherence to the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) regulations and local statutory requirements at all times.

​Qualifications & Requirements

​PSIRA Registration (Mandatory): Active, fully compliant PSIRA registration holding Grades A, B, C, and D certification. Proof of valid PSIRA certificate required.

​Education: Grade 12 (Matric) certificate preferred.

​Clear Record: Clear criminal record (police clearance will be conducted).

​Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, or specialized guarding environments.

​Physical & Mental Fitness: Fit to perform active shift work, physical patrols, and maintain alertness during day or night shifts.

​Communication: Strong command of spoken and written English; ability to compile accurate, legible reports and incident logs.

​Additional Advantage: Valid Code 08 (EB) Driver’s License, fire-arm competency, or ISPS / maritime guarding experience is advantageous.
