Z Protection Services is currently seeking experienced Security Officers / Crowd Controllers for ongoing casual work at venues and major events across Regional Victoria.

We have regular crowd control requirements across a range of venues and events and are looking for experienced staff who can work professionally in busy public and licensed environments.

The role will involve maintaining a safe and secure environment for patrons, staff and event organisers. Duties may include entry control, ID checks, bag checks, RSA compliance, crowd management, monitoring patron behaviour, managing intoxicated or aggressive persons, conflict de-escalation, incident response and working closely with venue or event management.

Previous crowd control experience is mandatory. Applicants must be confident dealing with members of the public and capable of working effectively in high-traffic and high-pressure environments.

Pay and Conditions

Pay is provided at Security Services Industry Award Level 3 and above, depending on the assignment and responsibilities.

Applicable entitlements include:

• Superannuation
• Portable Long Service Leave levy
• First Aid Allowance
• Applicable Award penalties and loadings
• Travel payments or allowances for eligible regional events

There is ongoing casual work available across regular venues as well as major events throughout Regional Victoria.

Mandatory Requirements

Applicants must hold:

• Current Victorian Security Licence
• Crowd Controller activity on licence
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR
• Current Working With Children Check
• Current RSA
• Previous crowd control experience
• Full Australian working rights

Applicants must also be available to work evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays as required.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for experienced security personnel who are reliable, professional and confident in crowd control environments.

You should be able to communicate clearly, follow site and venue procedures, manage difficult situations appropriately and work effectively as part of a security team.

Experience across licensed venues, sporting events, festivals or major public events will be highly regarded.
