Security Manager

We are seeking an experienced Security Manager to lead and oversee all security operations for our oil and gas construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting personnel, assets, facilities, and operations through effective security planning, risk management, compliance, and incident response.

This role requires a proactive leader with extensive experience in high-risk industrial environments and a strong understanding of security regulations, emergency preparedness, and asset protection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific security strategies and procedures.
• Conduct regular security risk assessments and threat analyses.
• Establish emergency response, crisis management, and contingency plans.
• Identify opportunities to improve security systems and processes.

Access Control & Surveillance

• Manage site access control systems and visitor management procedures.
• Oversee CCTV monitoring, perimeter security, and security checkpoint operations.
• Ensure effective monitoring and protection of all access and egress points.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry security standards.
• Maintain accurate security records, reports, and documentation.
• Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions as required.

Safety, Training & Awareness

• Deliver security awareness and induction programs for employees and contractors.
• Conduct security briefings for personnel working in high-risk areas.
• Work closely with HSE teams to promote a safe and secure working environment.

Incident Management & Investigations

• Lead responses to security incidents, emergencies, and breaches.
• Conduct investigations and prepare detailed incident reports.
• Recommend and implement preventive and corrective measures.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with government authorities, law enforcement agencies, and emergency services.
• Collaborate with project teams, HR, IT, and operations departments to ensure integrated security solutions.
• Support the management of security service contracts and vendor performance.

Asset Protection

• Protect company facilities, equipment, materials, and critical infrastructure.
• Develop and enhance systems for safeguarding organizational assets.
• Monitor logistics and transportation activities to ensure secure delivery and movement of materials.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in security management, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC, or Construction sectors.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations and international security standards.
• Proven experience managing security operations in large industrial or construction environments.
• Demonstrated leadership, crisis management, and decision-making capabilities.

Pay: QAR18,000.00 per month
