Security Manager

About the role

Haoyang Data Center 1 (Thailand) Limited is seeking an experienced Security Manager to join our team in Rayong, Thailand. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in safeguarding our data centre operations and ensuring the security of our infrastructure, systems, and personnel. As Security Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive security strategies that protect our assets and maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance within our facility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols for the data centre facility
• Oversee physical security measures including access control systems, surveillance systems, and perimeter security
• Manage and supervise security personnel and coordinate their activities across all shifts
• Conduct regular security assessments and risk evaluations to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures
• Respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting investigations and implementing remedial actions
• Ensure compliance with local and international security regulations, standards, and best practices
• Coordinate with IT security teams to ensure integrated physical and cybersecurity measures
• Manage security budgets and procurement of security equipment and systems
• Conduct security awareness training for staff and contractors
• Maintain detailed security records, incident reports, and audit trails
• Liaise with external stakeholders including local authorities, law enforcement, and security consultants

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in security management, preferably within data centre or critical infrastructure environments
• Proven expertise in physical security systems, access control, surveillance, and monitoring technologies
• Strong knowledge of security best practices and industry standards (ISO 27001, ISO 27002, or similar)
• Experience managing security teams and personnel across multiple shifts
• Excellent incident response and crisis management capabilities
• Sound understanding of data centre operations and security requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks
• Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CPP (Certified Protection Professional), or similar credentials are highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English; Thai language skills are advantageous
• Knowledge of relevant Thai and international security regulations and compliance requirements
• Ability to work flexibly and respond to security emergencies as required
