Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol CPR Ready in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while documenting observations and responding to routine concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and potential security-related issues to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
