Security Officer Class D

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer Class D to uphold safety and security within our dealerships. This role involves monitoring premises, managing access points, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe atmosphere through active surveillance and conflict management. As a vital part of our security team, you will play a key role in preventing loss, responding to emergencies, and supporting overall safety initiatives.
Currently seeking 4 officers in the Sanford Location. Location# 139 N Oregon St, Sanford, FL 32771.

Duties

• Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Protects high value vehicles from theft, vandalism, and damage, particularly during after hours.
• Conduct routine patrols of the premises to ensure safety protocols are followed and identify potential hazards or unauthorized presence
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies with appropriate action including contacting law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism and de-escalation techniques to maintain order and safety
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting incidents accurately
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and access records for accountability and reporting purposesRequirements
• Valid Class D security license or certification as required by local regulations
• Experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service, or related fields preferred
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Excellent observation skills with attention to detail and situational awareness.
