Security Officer

Hours: 42 on average 4 on 4 off

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of The Arc Shopping Centre, its tenants and customers. Your day-to-day duties will include:

Description of Duties:

• Patrolling of a shopping centre including the surrounding area
• Performing regular health and safety checks
• Providing a safe environment for shoppers in all public areas
• Liaising with Store Managers and local authorities
• Regular and accurate report writing
• Dealing with first aid situations
• Carrying out any other reasonable management requests
• Proactive interaction with the general public offering superb customer service at all times

Experience/Skill Requirements:

• A valid SIA licence and First Aid certification - For the right candidate Westgrove may be willing to provide Training in order to obtain a licence
• A valid CCTV is desirable
• Honesty, Integrity, good communication skills
• A flexible and responsible approach to the job
• A level of good customer service
• The ability to work Independently and as part of a team
• A willingness to learn and take training opportunities when offered
• Reliability and enthusiasm for the role
