Security Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise security guards and ensure deployment as per duty roster.
• Monitor entry and exit of employees, contractors, visitors, and vehicles.
• Ensure gate pass procedures for incoming and outgoing materials.
• Prevent theft, pilferage, trespassing, and unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular security patrols across the plant, warehouse, and utility areas.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and investigate suspicious activities.
• Coordinate during emergencies such as fire, accidents, or security incidents.
• Prepare and submit daily security reports and incident reports.
• Verify contractor workforce attendance and movement.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with local police, fire department, and emergency services when required.
• Conduct surprise inspections and security audits.
• Train security personnel on SOPs, emergency response, and safety protocols.
