The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, patrolling designated areas, and ensuring a safe environment for all. Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorised access and identify potential security risks.
• Monitor surveillance cameras (CCTV) to observe activity and respond promptly to any suspicious behaviour.
• Implement loss prevention strategies by observing customer and staff activities, preventing theft or damage.
• Respond swiftly to alarms or incidents, including providing first aid when necessary.
• Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
• Enforce company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and conduct.
• Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services as required during incidents or emergencies.
• Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any faults or issues promptly.

Requirements

• Excellent observational skills with the ability to recognise potential threats or hazards.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting incidents clearly and effectively.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations professionally.
• Physical fitness to patrol premises thoroughly and respond swiftly when required.
• A valid Door supervisor license
