Overview

Join our dynamic security team as a Security Officer and play a vital role in safeguarding our facilities, assets, and personnel. This energetic position requires a proactive approach to maintaining safety, enforcing security protocols, and providing excellent customer service. As a Security Officer, you will be the first line of defense, ensuring a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, access control, and emergency response. Your dedication will help create a safe space where everyone can thrive.

Duties

• Control access to the facility by verifying identities and managing entry through access control systems
• Respond swiftly to incidents, including emergencies, conflicts, or security breaches, following established procedures
• Write detailed incident reports to document events accurately and assist in investigations or audits
• Conduct surveillance activities and manual security checks to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
• Enforce security regulations while maintaining professional customer service interactions with visitors and staff
• Assist in performing physical security tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling during patrols or incident responses
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders during critical situations to ensure swift resolution

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields preferred
• Ability to perform conflict de-escalation and conflict management effectively under pressure
• Strong understanding of legal regulations related to security operations and compliance standards
• Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties, heavy lifting, and manual handling tasks as needed
• Excellent communication skills for incident report writing and customer service interactions
• Ability to respond quickly to emergency procedures including fire safety protocols and emergency response procedures

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
