Security Officer – Full-Time / Part-Time

We are currently seeking professional and reliable Security Officer/s to join our team at Maroochydore, QLD. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable organisation that values professionalism, safety, and service excellence.

About the Role

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role involves a mix of patrols, incident response, and client-facing duties.

Positions available: Full-time and/or Part-time

Award Level: Level 2 $29.24

Shifts: Weekday | Day and night shifts

Roster: Tuesday: 15:30 - 23:00 | Thursday: 18:00 - 22:00

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets
• Provide a professional and approachable security presence
• Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance
• Identify and assess risks, taking appropriate action in line with procedures
• Adhere to all site and company security protocols
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid Security Licence
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded)
• Availability to workday/night and weekday/weekend shifts
• Good physical fitness, as patrols are required
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• A reliable and punctual work history
• Full Australian working rights
