Duties

• Monitor surveillance cameras and conduct regular patrols to identify potential security risks or suspicious activity.
• Control access to the premises using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond promptly to emergencies by executing established procedures, including fire safety protocols, first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency evacuation.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events with clarity and accuracy.
• Perform background checks on new employees or vendors as part of the onboarding process to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Conduct physical security measures such as heavy lifting, manual handling, and conflict de-escalation when necessary to maintain order.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring external assistance while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles or military service with knowledge of law enforcement procedures is highly desirable.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, Taser use, firearm handling, and conflict management is preferred.
• Strong surveillance skills combined with experience operating access control systems and performing background checks.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally under pressure.
• Physical fitness capable of performing heavy lifting and prolonged patrolling duties in various environments.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures and compliance with security regulations is essential.
• Ability to handle conflict de-escalation tactfully while maintaining safety for all parties involved.
