Security Officer

Purpose

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting employees, visitors, assets, materials and premises through effective access control, patrols and incident response. This role forms part of the initial operating team for Whitebrown Industries Limited, supporting the planned commencement and ongoing safety of factory operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Access Control & Verification

● Control entry and exit of persons, vehicles and materials at the site.

● Verify authorizations for all persons and vehicles accessing the premises.

● Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle and access logs.

2. Patrols & Surveillance

● Conduct regular patrols across the site.

● Monitor gates and CCTV to detect and deter unauthorized activity.

● Protect stock and equipment from theft, damage or unauthorized removal.

3. Incident & Emergency Response

● Report incidents promptly to the Head of Plant Operations.

● Support emergency procedures, including evacuations and first response.

4. Site Discipline & Handover

● Enforce site rules and safety regulations.

● Complete shift handovers with accurate and timely information.

Scope Information

● Direct Reports: None Head of Plant Operations

● Indirect Reports: MD

● Geographical Scope: Port Harcourt, Rivers State

Knowledge

● SSCE or equivalent; additional security training is preferred

● Recognized security, first-aid, fire-safety or emergency-response certification preferred

● 2+ years of industrial, commercial or site-security experience

● Manufacturing, construction, warehouse or industrial-site security experience preferred

Pay: ₦70,000.00 - ₦80,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
