Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors.

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, preventing loss, responding to emergencies, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

This is a full-time Mobile Patrol Security Officer position. Candidates must have open availability for both 1st and 2nd shifts.

Shift Schedule

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 12:30 PM – 8:00 PM
• Availability: Must be available for a combination of 1st and 2nd shifts
• Position: Full-Time Mobile Patrol Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and parking lots.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assess situations, and take appropriate action.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to help deter theft and vandalism.
• Maintain surveillance using CCTV systems and report suspicious activities.
• Provide first aid and CPR as needed during emergency situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, is beneficial.
• Strong conflict-management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is an asset.
• Excellent observational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to work in various environments and remain professional at all times.
• Must have open availability for both 1st and 2nd shifts.
