Duties

• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the facility and detect suspicious behavior or security breaches
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including entry points, parking areas, and sensitive zones, to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
• Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees by checking credentials and issuing access passes as needed
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by assessing situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services
• Manage conflict situations professionally through effective conflict management techniques to de-escalate potential threats
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately for future reference and compliance purposes
• Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or suspicious activities and intervening appropriately

Experience

• Prior experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention techniques
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
• Strong understanding of conflict management principles and procedures for handling emergencies effectively
• Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining professionalism in high-pressure situations
• Experience with security protocols, including access control procedures and incident reporting standards

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
