Signal Security is seeking dependable, professional, and motivated Level 1 Security Officers to join our growing team in the Greater Minneapolis Area. WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Level 1 Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a visible security presence, protecting client properties, and providing professional security services.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain a Visible Security Presence: Deter unauthorized activity through professional engagement, observation, and proactive security practices.
• Conduct Security Patrols: Perform scheduled foot and vehicle patrols, as assigned, to identify suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security concerns.
• Monitor Property Access: Help ensure that only authorized individuals enter designated areas and follow established access-control procedures.
• Respond to Incidents: Assess and respond appropriately to disturbances, emergencies, suspicious activity, and other security-related situations.
• Provide Excellent Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, employees, visitors, and members of the public.
• Enforce Site Procedures: Follow established post orders, client policies, and company procedures.
• Document Activities: Complete accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Communicate Effectively: Maintain clear communication with supervisors, coworkers, clients, and emergency personnel when necessary.
• Demonstrate Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance, remain alert while on duty, and exercise sound judgment in all situations.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:

• Meet Minnesota's applicable licensing and eligibility requirements for the assigned security position.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate a positive attitude.
• Possess strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and accountability.
• Remain calm and composed in stressful or rapidly changing situations.
• Follow written instructions, post orders, and established procedures.
• Provide professional customer service while maintaining appropriate security boundaries.
• Possess the ability to complete incident reports and daily activity documentation.
• Be willing to work assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays, as required by the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous security, military, law enforcement, public safety, or related experience.
• Experience conducting patrols, controlling access, responding to incidents, or protecting commercial properties.
• Current applicable Minnesota security training or credentials, where required for the assigned duties, or be able to obtain.

COMPENSATION

Earn $20.00 per hour!
