Available Security Assignments

Our officers serve in a variety of environments, including:

• Residential Properties and Apartment Communities: Property patrols, access monitoring, incident documentation, resident assistance, and maintaining a visible security presence.
• Surveillance and Monitoring Assignments: Monitoring surveillance cameras, identifying suspicious activity, documenting observations, and coordinating appropriate responses.
• Grocery Stores and Retail Locations: Loss prevention support, customer and employee safety, visible deterrence, and professional incident response.
• Gas Stations and Convenience Stores: Maintaining a safe environment, deterring criminal activity, addressing disturbances, and supporting employees when necessary.
• Restaurants and McDonald’s Locations: Providing security for employees and guests, monitoring activity, handling disturbances professionally, and maintaining a safe atmosphere.
• Special Events and Entertainment Venues: Crowd observation, entrance security, access control, conflict prevention, and assisting event management.
• Mobile Patrol and Property Response: Conducting assigned patrols, documenting security concerns, and responding to calls for service as authorized.

Assignments vary based on experience, qualifications, scheduling availability, and operational needs.

Compensation and Career Advancement

Starting Compensation: $16 to $25 per hour

Pay is determined by assignment, relevant experience, qualifications, responsibilities, and demonstrated capabilities.

Long-Term Salary Opportunities

As Falcon Risk & Security grows, select leadership and management positions may transition into salaried careers.

We are also developing opportunities for future expansion into additional states. Exceptional employees who demonstrate leadership ability, sound judgment, reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to the company’s success may eventually be considered for regional leadership roles.

These positions may involve relocating to another state and representing Falcon Risk & Security as part of our operational leadership.

Future senior executive and regional leadership positions may offer annual compensation exceeding $100,000.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence at assigned locations.
• Conduct regular foot patrols, vehicle patrols, or surveillance monitoring as required.
• Observe, identify, and properly report suspicious or potentially dangerous activity.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, employees, guests, and clients.
• Professionally address disturbances and resolve conflicts using sound judgment and de-escalation techniques.
• Complete accurate, detailed, and timely incident reports.
• Follow post orders, company procedures, and site-specific requirements.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, management, and appropriate emergency responders.
• Protect client property through authorized security procedures.
• Maintain professional appearance and proper uniform standards.
• Arrive on time, remain attentive, and maintain responsibility throughout assigned shifts.
• Represent Falcon Risk & Security with integrity and professionalism.

Strict Workplace Conduct and Smoking Policy

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited while on duty, at assigned client properties, and inside company vehicles.

The use or consumption of alcohol while on duty is strictly prohibited. Employees must report to work sober, alert, and fit to perform their assigned responsibilities.

We respect employees’ lawful personal choices outside of working hours. However, those choices must never interfere with workplace safety, professional conduct, job performance, or company policies.

Violations of workplace conduct and safety standards may result in disciplinary action, including termination.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must meet applicable New Mexico security officer registration and licensing requirements for assigned duties.
• Must possess any security credentials required for the specific position.
• Previous security, military, law enforcement, corrections, customer service, or related experience is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from assigned worksites.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Must be able to complete accurate written reports.
• Must be willing to follow instructions, company policies, and established security procedures.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be dependable and able to fulfill scheduled assignments.
• Must be able to meet the physical and operational requirements of assigned posts, with reasonable accommodations when applicable.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Applicants with Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 security credentials are encouraged to identify their current qualifications.

Availability for evening, overnight, weekend, and event assignments is especially valuable.
