Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure property security.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including buildings, parking areas, and restricted zones, to identify potential security breaches or hazards.
• Control access to the facility using access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies by following established emergency response procedures; provide first aid or CPR when necessary.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities for record-keeping and follow-up actions.
• Perform background checks on new employees or vendors as part of the screening process to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety for all parties involved.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of CCTV operation, access control systems, and manual handling procedures.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, Taser use, firearm handling (if applicable), and fire safety are preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical security duties requiring stamina and strength.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to write clear incident reports and perform background checks effectively.
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures and compliance with security regulations is essential.
• Demonstrated conflict management skills with a focus on customer service excellence in high-pressure situations.
