Part of the Star Cargo Group PLC, it is an established company and provides many services in the transport and distribution sector for Star Cargo and the local area. employing locally over 200 staff. • From the Husk (UK) site we operate a European transport business, a commercial vehicle workshop, warehousing and we also sell fuel, this means for you no 2 working days are ever the same.
• You will be working an average of 4 shifts of 12 hours over a rolling 8-day period, this may include weekend working. You will know your shift pattern when you start and will only change when covering for holidays or sickness.
• Working from your own Security Office You will be responsible for entry to and from our site as well as security across our 7.5-acre site. Every day we have Suppliers and Customers coming to visit us, you will often be the first person that they meet so an ability to interact well with people and communicate clearly in a friendly and positive manner is a must. A basic knowledge of computers ie sending e-mails is a requirement.
• Supplementing an established Security team of 3 with over 30 years cumulative experience working for Husk (UK) You will receive a minimum of 4 Shifts on the job training, learning what is involved from individuals who are actually doing the job**.**

We offer a very competitive Starting salary circa £28,000 with time and half payments for bank holidays and holiday and sickness cover. Additional benefits include the company pension scheme, cheap diesel fuel / servicing and MOT’s for family and yourself.
