Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance systems continuously to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including buildings, parking areas, and restricted zones to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by following established procedures, including fire safety, medical emergencies, or security threats.
• Write detailed incident reports accurately documenting any security-related events or concerns.
• Perform background checks on new employees or visitors as required to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents, providing necessary information and support.

Requirements

• Proven experience in physical security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance technology, access control systems, and emergency response procedures.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use are preferred.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or incident management.
• Strong conflict de-escalation and conflict management skills to handle tense situations professionally.
• Familiarity with fire safety protocols, firearm handling (if applicable), and compliance with security regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with visitors and staff.
• Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties over extended periods and respond swiftly during emergencies.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
