Duties

• Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems (CCTV) to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety across the premises
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fences, to identify potential security breaches or hazards
• Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations of visitors, contractors, and employees
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies following established emergency response procedures such as CPR or AED operation
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities with clarity and accuracy
• Perform background checks on new personnel as part of the hiring process to ensure compliance with security regulations
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques effectively when dealing with unruly or disruptive individuals while maintaining professionalism

Requirements

• Proven experience in physical security roles or law enforcement with knowledge of surveillance technology and CCTV operations
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe movement of equipment or materials
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of security protocols such as access control systems, incident report writing, and compliance with security regulations
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict management situations calmly and professionally
• Physical fitness to stand for extended periods, patrol large areas, and perform heavy lifting when necessary
• Knowledge of fire safety procedures and emergency response protocols is essential
• Background in military service or related fields is a plus for this energetic role

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
