Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of premises to monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches
• Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras and access control systems to oversee property and personnel movements
• Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents by following established emergency response procedures
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related events or concerns with clarity and accuracy
• Perform background checks on visitors or contractors as part of access control protocols
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes calmly and professionally
• Assist in performing heavy lifting or manual handling tasks when necessary for security setups or incident management

Requirements

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use preferred
• Knowledge of CCTV operation, access control systems, and firearm handling regulations
• Ability to perform physical security duties including patrolling, heavy lifting, and manual handling with diligence
• Strong communication skills for incident report writing and conflict management
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures and compliance with security regulations
• Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining professionalism
• Valid licenses or certifications required by local law for security personnel
