Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorised access and identify potential security risks.
• Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity across different areas.
• Respond swiftly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious activities.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and log all security-related activities accurately.
• Assist with loss prevention strategies by observing and reporting theft or vandalism.
• Control access points by verifying credentials of staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring prompt response to medical emergencies.
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures diligently to uphold a secure environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in surveillance operations and utilisation of CCTV systems.
• Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and security protocols.
• Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations, including administering first aid if required.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting incidents clearly.
• Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform patrols across large areas.
• Discretion and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information or situations.
