Security Officer

Job title: Unarmed Security Officer – Part-Time / Flex
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Job type: Part-time, as needed (no guaranteed hours)
Location: Client sites across the Phoenix metro area
Schedule: Evenings, weekends and some overnights

GDF Security is a locally owned, DPS-licensed security agency in Phoenix. We’re a small team led by DPS-registered firearms instructors, and we’re adding unarmed officers to cover posts and patrols at client sites, including a licensed cannabis dispensary, a commercial office complex and community venues.

What you’ll do

• Stand post or patrol client properties on foot, checking doors, gates and grounds
• Control access, greet visitors and keep a visible, professional presence
• Calm situations down and call police or emergency services when needed
• Clock in, log patrols and write incident reports in our guard app
• Cover different sites as schedules change

Requirements

• 18 or older
• Current Arizona DPS unarmed security guard card
• Current DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Current ADHS marijuana facility agent (FA) card
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and reliable vehicle (you’ll travel between sites)
• Smartphone for our guard app (clock-in, GPS patrol tracking, reports)
• Available evenings and weekends
• Able to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift

Nice to have

• Security, military, law enforcement or customer-facing experience
• Experience at retail, cannabis or nightlife venues

What we offer

• $19/hr
• Guard card renewal costs reimbursed
