Job Description

As a Security Officer Computer Tablet Reporting in Southlake, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Use access control and alarm systems to support a welcoming environment while demonstrating our agile, reliable, innovative, and caring values through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating concerns through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business location, perimeter, and technology-focused work areas, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting a professional workplace environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience using alarm panels is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
