Job Description

As a Security Officer Controlled Entry Coordinator in CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a professional presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and site leadership while supporting orderly operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and vehicle entry records, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, trailers, packages, and/or shipments in accordance with site procedures; report discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
