Job Description

As a Security Officer Dispatch Position in Madison, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor alarm activity and access control systems, document incidents, and direct appropriate responses to security-related concerns. Your professional presence and customer-focused communication will help support a welcoming environment while helping to deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, incidents, and requests to appropriate personnel using established communication protocols.
• Monitor communication channels and security-related systems, document activity accurately, and maintain clear incident logs and dispatch records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas and the business perimeter, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or access concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
