Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Controlled Entry in Topton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and support a professional environment for employees and visitors. You will use communication and customer service skills while conducting security-related checks and responding to incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License

  • All candidates must possess a valid driver's license issued in the state where the job is located (C124). This requirement is crucial for positions that involve travel or transportation of goods and services.

• Security Experience

  • Candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant security experience (C115). This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle security-related tasks and responsibilities effectively.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet

  • Applicants should be proficient in using a computer or tablet (B204). Familiarity with basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms is essential for job performance.

• Customer Service Experience

  • A minimum of one year of customer service experience (B219) is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with clients and customers.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the manufacturing location by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, issuing temporary access materials, and maintaining required entry records.
• Monitor access points, gates, and/or electronic access control systems; report access irregularities and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
