As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Operations in Breinigsville, PA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.47 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access credentials.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Candidates must demonstrate experience with alarm panel systems, including installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of various alarm technologies and protocols is essential.
• Customer Service Experience (B219): Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of effectively addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues. Experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor badges, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized entry attempts, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, lobby areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and access-control activities in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
