Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Screening Driver in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, helping manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a secure environment for personnel and visitors. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, use technology to document activities, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, maintain access logs, and report access discrepancies according to site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle access, and restricted-area authorization to help deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, surrounding areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
