Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Validation Mira Loma, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, document security-related activity, and help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site requirements.
• Screen incoming deliveries and contractor arrivals, coordinate access with authorized site contacts, and help protect restricted production, warehouse, and administrative areas from unauthorized entry.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate personnel and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
