Security Officer Evolution-Southfield

Job Purpose:

• The Security Officer at Evolution-Southfield, under the employment of Patriot Security Enterprises LLC, is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. The role requires a vigilant and proactive approach to security, ensuring the protection of property and individuals while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances, providing immediate assistance and support as needed.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required, ensuring a coordinated response to incidents.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting visitors and ensuring a positive security presence.
• Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on security protocols and procedures.

Required Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education:

• None

Required Experience:

• 1 year of security experience

Preferred Experience:

• 1 year of customer service experience

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Strong observational skills to detect suspicious activities
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and report incidents
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
• Basic knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures
• Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond to incidents
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in using security equipment and technology
