Security Officer- Floater Position

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

The position requires coverage at more than one site. Pay rate built based on this requirement

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any suspicious activities or incidents.
• Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities and ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, providing assistance as needed.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance in emergency situations as required.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in security or law enforcement are preferred.
• Proven experience in security roles or related fields is advantageous.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to pass background checks and any required training programs.
