Key Responsibilities - Observe and monitor store activities utilizing CCTV and other surveillance equipment to prevent theft or vandalism. - Conduct regular patrols throughout the store, focusing on high-value sections to enforce security protocols and ensure safety compliance. - Oversee entry points with advanced access control systems, verifying the credentials of employees, vendors, and visitors to maintain security standards. - Respond swiftly to emergencies by following established procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED application, and liaising with emergency services as necessary. - Prepare accurate documentation of incidents in reports, noting any security breaches, unusual behaviors, or safety concerns encountered during your shift. - Carry out background checks for prospective hires or vendors to ensure adherence to security policies. - Execute loss prevention tactics by evaluating theft risks and implementing preventive measures in accordance with company guidelines. Qualifications - Minimum one year of experience in security roles, ideally in luxury retail, law enforcement, military, or related fields. - Comprehensive understanding of surveillance systems, including CCTV and access control technology. - Preferred certifications in first aid, CPR, AED, and Taser usage; must be capable of handling medical emergencies effectively. - Physically fit to perform tasks requiring lifting and prolonged patrols while maintaining vigilance. - Strong conflict resolution abilities with efficient strategies to de-escalate potential confrontations. - Knowledge of emergency response protocols and safety regulations related to fire safety and lifting operations. - Proficient in writing clear and precise incident reports immediately following any occurrences or irregularities. - Awareness of legal responsibilities concerning security practices and compliance in luxury retail settings. Duties

• Monitor and operate surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to oversee all areas of the retail space and detect suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular patrols throughout the store, including high-value zones, to ensure physical security and identify potential risks or breaches.
• Manage access control systems to regulate entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, verifying identities and authorizations.
• Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies by executing established emergency response procedures, including fire safety protocols and evacuation plans.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, thefts, or other irregularities with clarity and accuracy for future review.
• Perform background checks on new employees or vendors as part of the store’s compliance procedures.
• Utilize conflict de-escalation techniques to manage disputes or unruly behavior professionally while maintaining a calm environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in physical security or law enforcement roles; military background is highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance technology, CCTV operation, access control systems, and emergency response procedures.
• Certified in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use; additional firearm handling certification is preferred.
• Skilled in manual handling techniques and heavy lifting necessary for security equipment setup or incident management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to write comprehensive incident reports clearly and accurately.
• Demonstrated ability to perform background checks adhering to legal standards and confidentiality requirements.
• Capable of patrolling large retail spaces efficiently while maintaining attention to detail at all times.
• Knowledge of compliance with security regulations specific to high-end retail environments; experience with conflict management and customer service is a plus.
