Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Magnetometer Screening in Shepherdsville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help support a welcoming and secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-screening requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering the location by verifying authorization, inspecting permitted items in accordance with site policies, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry points and access-control activity, report suspicious activity or policy violations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, entry areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
